I am going to Thailand.

I feel the need to take another adventure. Life here has been fun, but it is just getting a little bit, what is the word, "ordinary". It turns out I have a friend that lives in Bangkok and we are going to go run a race in Cambodia together. On this trip I will be stopping in Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, and Vietnam. Should be soo cool and a fun adventure. Normal is definitely not my middle name. SO, this seems most appropriate. I am going alone which is worrisome just a little bit. Don't get me wrong I always love a good solo adventure. This one is just in Asia. I country I have never been and not one word of Thai or any other language can i speak. I guess my hand coordination will come into handy! I am ready for something new so bring IT ON!

SYDNEY!!!

The past 5 months I have been living and working in Sydney and have gotten used to my lifestyle here. I have kinda lost the idea of traveling and become accustom to the life here. I just realised that I have not written in my blog forever! SO I figured I needed to upload some pictures and tell you a little bit about what has been going on in my life and where I have been.

1. I went to Cairns, Queensland in August and it was amazing! (July 28th-August 5th)
2. I went to Melbourne for my birthday and had soo much fun!
3. I am going to ASIA (Thailand, Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia) in November for one month and cannot wait!!!!!
4. I am working as a preschool/primary school teacher which has been really fun!

It has been a while... got lost in Melbourne!!

So... Spent the past few months in Melbourne... now I am back in Sydney. Working and living I guess. I need more time to write.. but that will come with time!

Counting down the days...

ONLY 10 days and I am on my way to a new place, a new home, a new adventure. I just need to write this so I can re assure myself that I am doing the right thing. I think I am, but others say differently.

I say life is an adventure so why not see where it takes you. My dad once said, are you going to remember that 2003 Honda Civic or will you remember the year you had in Australia. You can guess what happened to the car..!!

To Sell Everything You Own......

So... I have been watching Oprah and I love her! She took all of her audience to Australia! Everyday I watch her show I know that my choice to move to Australia is going to be amazing! I am sooo excited I can barely take it! Today my mom got me a Frommer's Australia 2011. It will be great! I can't wait to see my friends and live the Aussie lifestyle that seems so much more appealing to me! Life is what you make it. Some people think I am crazy for going, but I can surely say they are wrong. I might be crazy, but this is the best crazy idea I have made in my life. Life should be crazy and adventurous. I sold everything I own to go to OZ and I don't regret it at all. When I am 90 years old I will remember the experience I had in Australia rather than that 2003 Honda Civic. That is what life is to me. I might be changing my lifestyle all of the time, but who said I had to stay in one place. That just would not do!

I am back in the states. It is nice to be home, but I miss Madrid and all of my friends. Coming home was so nice, but when it is not in a city that you have lived before it can be hard. Before I leave for OZ in 5 weeks I want to make the best of it. Even if it is alone. Til next time... Adios.
